Testosterone replacement requires careful monitoring to ensure therapy is appropriate, effective, and safe over time. This panel evaluates testosterone levels alongside pituitary signaling, thyroid function, and prostate-related markers to provide clinical context for treatment decisions. It is required after 90 days, annually, and as requested while on testosterone therapy (including testosterone injections, testosterone cream, hCG, and enclomiphene) to evaluate eligibility.

Visit Quest
Walk into a Quest Diagnostics location near you for a quick blood draw. For accurate assessment, this lab panel must be completed between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m., when testosterone levels are at their physiologic peak — tests drawn outside this window cannot be considered valid for treatment qualification. It is recommended to fast for at least 8 hours before.
